When you are pregnant, there are several physical and hormonal changes rapidly happening in your body in a short time.  These changes can cause more stress to the body including increased weight, pressure on your joints, changes to the curve in your low back, and other postural changes in the pelvis and its supporting ligaments.

What is the Webster Technique, and how can it help me through my pregnancy?  According to the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), the Webster Technique is a “specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment reducing interference to the nervous system and balancing maternal pelvic muscles and ligaments.”  This technique is particularly helpful for pregnant women, balancing the pelvis and reducing tension in the uterus, which can create a more comfortable environment for the baby.  This balancing encourages babies to be in the best position facilitating an easier, safer, and less stressful delivery.
