To ensure a smooth, flat surface for the veneer to adhere to, Q recommended covering the uneven slump block with Hardie board, a cement board that provides a solid, even foundation for various surface applications. Project Expansion: Adding the Mesquite Mantel
After completing the lower portion of the fireplace with the stone veneer, Ray and Sandra were so pleased with the transformation that they decided to take the project a step further.
